Who We Are
Who are we?
JCI Canada is a national organization with approximately 35 chapters active in communities from coast to coast. Our chapters and our members are affiliated with Junior Chamber International, a worldwide federation of young leaders and entrepreneurs. We are Canada’s premier leadership development organization.
Who are our members?
Young, dynamic individuals wishing to create positive change in the world, their communities and themselves.
Why do people join?
JCI Canada provides the opportunity for members to develop solid business, leadership and entrepreneurial skills that will bring benefit both personally and professionally.
How do we provide these opportunities?
By joining a local chapter members may participate in a variety of programs including effective speaking, business plan writing, presentation techniques and business start up skills–and much more!
And that’s not all!!
We offer business networking nationally through the Canadian Business Network and internationally through the Business Networking Events/BizNet programs. We offer trainer development programs as well. JCI University is the leading Corporate University working with the principle of learning by doing. JCI University will be known for the implementation of theory in practice and by training leaders and entrepreneurs to be able to do, and not just know.
Like to travel?
Programs and events are available on the local, national or international level to fulfill your travel “bug”!

What do you want to get out of JCI?
Junior Chamber is an organization providing opportunities to its members. What you do with these opportunities is up to you. Most members will select those opportunities that meet their particular needs and make the most of them. Junior Chamber International identifies their programs Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Management and Trainer through the use of specific icons that will easily identify the program’s purpose. This will make it easier for members to pick their path through all that Junior Chamber has to offer. Skills are developed through either managing your own portfolio or by serving on one of many committees available.
